“Knowing how best to improve your health can be overwhelming. It can be hard to find clear, accurate health information and a challenge to navigate the healthcare world.
I created Real Talk Health to help both patients and caregivers get practical, proven strategies and education on how to improve health without the headaches.
— Dr. Adrienne DeBerry, President of Real Talk Health
Adrienne DeBerry, PharmD, BCACP, CSP
CLINICAL PHARMACIST EDUCATOR
Dr DeBerry is an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist who is passionate about patient education. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and went on to complete two post-graduate residency programs at a large academic, level I trauma center.
With over 11 years of pharmacy experience, she has specialized in a number of areas, including pain management, neurology, transitions of care, and specialty pharmacy services. Throughout her career as a clinic-based pharmacist, she has seen the health of patients suffer due to feeling overwhelmed, being confused or given incomplete information, or just giving up on taking charge of their health — “beause its just “too much”. She has given national and state-level conference presentations and enjoys using creativity to make complex topics simple to understand.
Her role as a pharmacist has been atypical – working shoulder to shoulder with physicians and nurses in outpatient clinics to provide pharmacotherapy consultations, recommendations for “the right drug, for the right patient”. She also creates education and training programs for healthcare professionals on medications and how to efficiently navigate the complex landscape of prescribing specialty medications.
Dr. DeBerry created Real Talk Health to help patients:
- Access meaningful, accurate, and clear education on health topics that stick
- Use lesser known strategies to save money on medications
